Bridger View B&B is surrounded by the beauty of the Salt River Range and the western foothills but is also close to all the conveniences the Town of Afton and Star Valley have to offer--restaurants, shopping, movie theater, auto services, and more.

Canyon View Park, with playgrounds and picnic tables, is near Afton's gateway to the National Forest at Swift Creek. Swift Creek provides you and your family with hiking and fishing opportunities, and in late summer and fall, the chance to see the world's largest Intermittent Spring in action. Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park are also an easy day-trip away.

Winter is a great time to visit Afton and the surrounding area. With National Forest access nearby, you can go snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in a matter of minutes from Bridger View Bed & Breakfast. There's even a small ski slope for the kids in Afton, with more challenging resorts a couple hours' drive away.

Several major events take place in the winter, including the Maverik Hill Climb 5 miles north of Afton, which takes place in February, and the Cutter Races, held near Afton on Saturdays in January and February.
